Cassie Ventura Resumes Testimony in Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ Sex Trafficking Trial

May 14, 2025 — Pulse Glance Newsroom

The federal trial of music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs resumed today in Manhattan, with his former partner and chief accuser Casandra “Cassie” Ventura returning to the witness stand.

Ventura is central to the government’s case, alleging that Diddy subjected her to over a decade of physical abuse, manipulation, and coercion. She previously testified about being forced into disturbing events described as “freak-offs”—drug-fueled sex parties allegedly organized by Combs to control and humiliate her.

A key piece of evidence presented includes a 2016 surveillance video purportedly showing Combs assaulting Ventura in a hotel hallway. Ventura testified that these encounters, often involving male escorts and MDMA, left her feeling “disgusted and humiliated.”

Prosecutors argue that Diddy ran a criminal enterprise involving sex trafficking and racketeering, using his wealth and influence to recruit and exploit women for years.

Diddy, who has pleaded not guilty, admits to having a volatile relationship with Ventura but claims all activities were consensual. His defense maintains that Ventura’s claims are financially motivated and part of a toxic, but not criminal, relationship.

The trial, which started on May 5, 2025, is expected to continue for several weeks. If found guilty, Diddy could face 15 years to life in prison.

The case has once again stirred discussions about abuse of power in the entertainment industry, drawing comparisons to other high-profile cases in recent years.
